Some quick answers to the questions we hear most...
Are you open to the public?
Absolutely. Our store hours are Tuesday-Friday from 10-5 & Saturday 10-3. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Our roasting facility is attached to the retail store, but we are not currently providing tours.
Are you a cafe?
We are not a cafe at all. While we have complimentary coffee available for sampling, we do not make custom drinks or brew to order. We sell freshly roasted beans and what we think are some other pretty neat products.
Can I order online for in store pickup?
You can! To do this, please select 'in-store pickup' at the end of check out. Please keep in mind that orders placed after 3:30 pm (Tue-Fri) or after 1:30 pm (Sat) cannot be guaranteed for same day pickup, If you order after the cut-off, please do so over the phone so we can make sure you're taken care of. This will also allow you to chat with us! We are happy to help with any coffee related questions before you finalize your order. Reach us during business hours at (203)739-0510, or walk right in!
What days do you ship?
Orders placed by 2:30 pm Tuesday - Friday will ship out within 24 hours. Orders placed on Saturday - Monday cannot be guaranteed to ship out before the following Tuesday (we are closed Sunday & Monday). Please allow *up to* 3-5 business days for coffee to arrive once shipped. Most orders arrive within 1-3 business days, but this varies based on your location. You will receive tracking information as soon as your order is shipped.
What size bags do you sell?
We package in both 8 and 16oz bags. Nothing is pre-packaged and waiting on the shelf for you to grab. Instead, we bag up what you want while you wait. Aside from single origins, we have house blends and are even happy to custom blend while we chat. This means you can blend any ratio of regular with decaf coffee to suit your preferences and needs, etc. Beans can be taken home whole, or we will grind them to your specifications.
Do you sell anything besides coffee?
We carry some of our favorite mugs, tees, etc. Also available is an assortment of loose leaf teas sourced from Simpson & Vail, a family operated tea importer located just north of us in Brookfield.
Do you carry certified organic coffee?
We are not a USDA inspected and certified facility, therefore none of our coffees are officially organic. However, we regularly source organically grown coffees. At Redding Roasters, our focus is on ethically and sustainably grown coffee, transparency, traceability, freshness, and education.
